Easy Bathrooms Launches Two New Essex Showrooms With £200k Investment

Easy Bathrooms is launching two new bathroom and tile showrooms in Essex with the opening of stores in Basildon and Colchester.

The news follows six months of planning, a £200,000 investment and the creation of eight new jobs.

We officially opened our 5,000 sq. ft. premises at Southernhay, Basildon in February, while our 4,000 sq. ft. Colchester store will open later this month.

With more than 60 tile and bathroom displays on offer, the Basildon store was formerly a Bathstore unit before it went into administration. We already has a showroom in Chelmsford, which opened in September 2018.

All three stores boast popular ranges from Burlington, Heritage, Calypso and Vitra and showcase on-trend styles, such as moonlight and geometric-patterned tiles.

We welcome both the public and trade, with incentives offered to business account holders. The three stores employ 14 people across the region.

Our head of retail, Neil Bell, said: “Easy Bathrooms has ambitious growth plans to become a truly national brand.

“We are confident that with our trusted management team in place, we can uphold our great service levels for new customers within this area.”

Clients will be able to work with staff to design their own bathroom, for free, using our award-winning ArtiCAD 3D system.

Peter Norman, manager at the new Basildon store, said: “I previously ran a successful franchise of Bathstore for 16 years, but I have never seen such quality of products, more inspiring showrooms or a positive company attitude than that of Easy Bathrooms, and I am delighted to be running my new team of four.”

We are also planning further growth across the UK within the next 12 months, with twelve more retail spaces in the pipeline.
