Kicking Off for a Cause: Join Us at the Langton & Durns Memorial Trophy
We are incredibly proud to announce Easy Bathrooms' official sponsorship of this year’s Langton and Durns Memorial Trophy - a charity football event raising awareness for mental health.
A Cause Close To Our Hearts
This event holds a very special place in the heart of our Easy Bathrooms team, especially for Dom, Assistant Showroom Manager at our Wakefield showroom, who has been instrumental in organising the upcoming charity football match.
Since 2021, Dom has been heavily involved in setting up the game in his hometown of Scunthorpe. The initiative was born out of the loss of his two friends, Jordan “Langton” and Kyle “Durns,” who sadly passed away within a short space of time due to mental health struggles.
The BTS Collective
Determined to make a positive difference after losing two friends far too soon, Dom and a group of close friends created "Break The Stigma", a mental health awareness group dedicated to encouraging people to talk more openly about mental health and supporting those who need it. The group recently evolved and rebranded into "The BTS Collective" in 2025, but the aim is still the same, making sure people know they’re not alone.

Over the years, the group have taken on some incredible challenges to raise awareness. Not long after Covid restrictions were lifted, Dom and fellow BTS member Connor completed a 40-mile walk from Wakefield to the gates of Glanford Park, the home of Scunthorpe United, in memory of Langton and Durns (Dom says his legs have never quite recovered!).
That walk marked the start of something much bigger. Alongside Dom, Connor and a group of close friends, the movement really began to grow. Inspired by earlier fundraising challenges, the group continued to push themselves physically to help break the stigma around men’s mental health.
Since then, they’ve conquered the Three Peaks Challenge, organised a music festival, and launched the Langton and Durns Memorial Trophy, which has grown into one of the biggest charity football events in the Scunthorpe area.
The Return of the Memorial Trophy
On Friday 24th July 2026, the Langton and Durns Memorial Trophy returns to the EC Surfacing Stadium in Brigg for another huge evening of football, fundraising, and remembering two men who will never be forgotten. The BTS Collective’s dream for the future is to one day host the game at Glanford Park itself, a place that means so much to them as lifelong Scunthorpe United supporters.
Why We’re Supporting It
At Easy Bathrooms, we’re not just about bathrooms, we’re about people too. Supporting something like this, especially when it’s close to one of our own team, was an easy decision. We’re proud to play a small part in helping the BTS Collective continue what they’re doing and keep raising awareness.
It’s a privilege to help them fund mental health initiatives and keep the memories of Jordan and Kyle alive through such a positive community event.
It’s OK to Not Be OK
The main message behind this event is simple - it’s OK to not be OK. No one should ever feel like they have to struggle alone, and there is help out there for anyone who needs it. It is imperative that everybody knows support is always available. If you or someone you know is struggling, there is support out there:
Even just having a conversation can make a big difference.

If you think you can make it, please get yourself over to the match on the 24th of July 2026 at to the EC Surfacing Stadium in Brigg Let's get together, enjoy some fantastic football, and support a truly important cause.
