Name: Steve Calder
Position: Manager at our bathroom and tile showroom in Chelmsford
1. How long have you worked at Easy Bathrooms?
Since the Chelmsford showroom opened last year in November, so nine months!
2. Tell us a bit more about your day-to-day role?
No two days are ever the same in my role – which I love. Generally, it’s my responsibility to meet and greet customers and make sure the showroom is being run smoothly, assist my colleagues, and ensure we deliver a great service.
3. What’s the favourite part of your position?
Helping customers transform their tired looking bathroom to something they fall in love with, with the help of our 3D design software.
4. Do you have a biggest achievement in work?
Seeing our sales grow each month and our name getting recognised locally.
5. Your favourite bathroom trend of 2019?
Mixing textures of tiles – we have some stunning designs on display to choose from. I love a feature wall, a personal favourite of mine is the Moonlight Cenzia Arkan ceramic tiles.
6. Describe your home style
Modern and minimalistic, I really dislike clutter.
7. What advice would you give to someone renovating their bathroom?
With so many choices to consider, make use of the knowledge we have in the showroom. We live and breathe bathrooms and can help in many ways. Renovating your bathroom is a big investment, so it’s important to get it right the first time around.
8. Which one word would your colleagues use to describe you?
Fair
9. When you’re not at work, what would we catch you doing?
Usually you would find me in a gym or eating out after a cinema trip with my children.
10. Name three words to describe Easy Bathrooms
Inspirational, friendly, different!
