Our Birmingham bathroom store helped to raise £20,000 for charity
Our Birmingham bathroom store is delighted to have helped the John Taylor Hospice in Erdington raise £20,000 at its annual Glitter Ball.
We donated a £1,000 bathroom voucher to be spent at our bathroom store in Birmingham, and the lot raised a brilliant £1,300 for the charity.
Emily Boate, events fundraising manager at John Taylor Hospice said: “As a charity we need to fundraise to ensure we can continue to provide our specialist care for local families and to extend our support to reach more people at the end of their life.
“Easy Bathrooms’ support of the Hospice and the Glitter Ball helps us achieve this. It's been a privilege to see so many people from our community come together to support John Taylor Hospice and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank Easy Bathrooms for being a part of this special event.”
Our Birmingham bathroom store and tile shop has partnered with the charity since it opened in September 2017, donating 5% of profits within the first month to the cause.
The charity provides specialist end of life care for people living with a terminal illness and their families – both at the hospice on Grange Road and within the community.
Phil Rooney, manager at our Birmingham showroom, said: “We chose John Taylor Hospice because we know that it’s a huge part of Erdington and many of our new staff also have personal connections to it.”
